Losing a loved one to suicide can be an isolating experience. In response, the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County, in collaboration with Tapestry and The Chautauqua Center, is offering a Suicide Bereavement Support Group this winter. This initiative aims to provide support for those navigating the difficult journey of grief in a safe environment.

The group offers a space for individuals to share their experiences, heal, and connect with others who understand their pain. Participants have the option to attend sessions either in person or virtually.

The support group will meet every Tuesday from January 7 to March 10, between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Meeting details will be provided upon registration. Interested individuals are encouraged to register by calling (716) 753-4522 or emailing RaynorC@chqgov.com. Registration is mandatory as it ensures a secure and supportive setting for all participants.

"You don’t have to walk this path alone," states the announcement, emphasizing the importance of taking steps towards healing through hope, understanding, and connection. The organization invites anyone affected by suicide loss to reach out for support.
