76 percent of applicants to SUNY at Fredonia were admitted for fall 2018

At SUNY at Fredonia, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Fredonia enrolled 4,655 students in fall 2018, including 4,431 in undergraduate and 224 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 3 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (72 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (10 percent).

The school admitted 76 percent of the 6,183 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 25 percent enrolled.
