63 percent of applicants to SUNY College of Technology at Alfred were admitted for fall 2018

At SUNY College of Technology at Alfred, 88 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 62 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Alfred enrolled 3,737 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (73 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 63 percent of the 7,065 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
