90 percent of applicants to Jamestown Business College were admitted for fall 2018

At Jamestown Business College, 70 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 69 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Jamestown enrolled 298 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 11 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (68 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 90 percent of the 160 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 77 percent enrolled.
