The Clymer/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack football team was recognized at the Chautauqua County Legislature meeting for their victory in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Class D championship game. The team secured a decisive 46-7 win over Burke Catholic at Syracuse University, concluding an 11-2 season. This marks their third state championship in seven years, with previous wins in 2018 and 2019.

County Executive Paul M. Wendel Jr., along with Legislators Travis B. Heiser and Martin J. Proctor, presented a Letter of Commendation to the team, acknowledging their achievements and contribution to Chautauqua County athletics.

Since 2017, the Wolfpack has produced 18 first-team all-state selections by the New York State Sportswriters Association. Notable players include five Class D Players of the Year: Derek Ecklund (2018), Cameron Barmore and Gerrit Hinsdale (2019), and Tate Catanese and Bryce Hinsdale (2024). These athletes have showcased exceptional talent, enhancing the program's reputation.

Head coach Ty Harper was also honored as he announced his retirement after more than ten years leading the team. Harper was instrumental in establishing the combined program's success, achieving a record of 78-24, including an undefeated season in 2018 and three NYSPHSAA Class D championships.

Harper's leadership has been pivotal in making the team a dominant force in New York high school football, bringing pride to both players and the community.
