Cattaraugus County is seeking public input for its Hazard Mitigation Plan Update through the Problem Areas Survey. Residents are encouraged to share how hazards impact their community and identify areas that need protection.
The survey, available at https://arcg.is/Davn9, asks participants to specify the location of any problem areas. Users can drop a pin on the map to indicate exact locations and select the type of problem from a dropdown menu. Participants are also invited to describe the issues they face.
Additionally, property owners interested in mitigation opportunities such as property acquisition, elevation, or relocation can express their interest through the survey.
