Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program offers coupon booklets for eligible seniors

Chautauqua County's Office for Aging Services has announced the availability of Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupon booklets for income-eligible older adults. These coupon booklets, valued at $25, can be used at farm stands and farmers markets to purchase fresh, nutritious, locally-grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

The coupons are available at the following locations:

- Fredonia Farmers Market

- Westfield Farmers Market

- Jamestown Farmers Market

Eligibility criteria include an income limit of $2,322 per month for a household size of one and $3,051 per month for a household size of two. Additionally, participants must be 60 years or older and should bring proof of age.

Each eligible senior can receive one coupon booklet. The program is free for all participants. Those who meet the eligibility criteria but have not yet received a coupon booklet are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
