CELERON, N.Y. – The Chautauqua Substance Abuse Response Partnership (CSARP) coalition has unveiled plans for the upcoming Hope and Healing Conference, set to take place at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celeron, NY. The event aims to delve into the intricate needs surrounding mental health and chemical dependency, celebrating successes in treatment and recovery.
Keynote speakers for the 2024 Hope and Healing Conference have been announced, including Laura Stack, Carlton Hall, and Gwendolyn A. Bork. Laura Stack, known for her work in substance abuse prevention, will share her personal journey and insights on the impact of THC on youth. Carlton Hall, with extensive experience in substance abuse prevention, will provide his expertise from years of community problem-solving services. Gwendolyn A. Bork, a respected Peer Recovery Coach, will bring her multifaceted expertise to the conference, addressing prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction.
The conference, scheduled for June 6th, 2024, will feature "Hope Talks," municipal addresses, and a behavioral health resources fair, offering attendees a platform to learn, connect, and celebrate progress in healing and recovery. Healthcare professionals, policymakers, educators, community members, and media representatives are all encouraged to participate in this event, which promises to equip attendees with practical knowledge and inspiration to contribute positively to community well-being.
