The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office is hiring. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Jail Division has several openings for anyone interested in the position of Correctional Officer. Anyone looking for an opportunity to start a career in law enforcement is encouraged to apply.
In order to be eligible to maintain employment as a Correctional Officer at the Wyoming County Jail, all applicants are required to take and pass a Civil Service examination. The next Civil Service examination is scheduled to take place on June 25, 2022. Applications to take this exam must be postmarked or submitted to the Wyoming County Civil Service Office in person no later than May 22nd, 2022 at 4:00 pm.
