According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 878,702 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 29,016 deaths statewide. As of 2:55 p.m. on December 23, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:
- Confirmed Cases: 1,681 (33 new)
- Recovered Cases: 1,457
- COVID-19 Related Deaths: 52 (Depending on reporting times and agencies, this figure may vary between different reports.)
- Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 6,880
- Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 6,064
- Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 816
- Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date: 1,420
- Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given: 917
- Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives: 54
