Newark home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Newark rose by $4,889 while total sales decreased by 4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 143 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 6.1% increase over the $80,111 median sale price for the previous year. There were 149 homes sold in Newark in 2016.
