Providing care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease can often lead to stress and feelings of isolation. Support groups serve as a valuable resource for caregivers to connect with others in similar situations and share experiences.

An opportunity is available each month to join such a group. Meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of every month between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the Cattaraugus County Department of the Aging, located at 3 E. Main St., Allegany, NY 14706.

Those interested in participating can register by visiting the website at www.alz.org/crf or by contacting the free 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
