On Sunday, March 9, former Gowanda High School standout John Ondus’ current college team, the Niagara Purple Eagles, lost 16-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stony Brook Seawolves.

The game took place at Joe Nathan Field. This was their third matchup against the Seawolves this season.

The Purple Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at McCann Baseball Field against Marist Red Foxes.
