With the onset of cold weather, local libraries in Cattaraugus County are offering a warm refuge for residents. As temperatures drop, these libraries provide a welcoming space for those seeking warmth. However, it is advisable to confirm their operating hours before visiting.

The Allegany Public Library, located at 90 West Main St in Allegany, operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. In Franklinville, Blount Library at 5 North Main St opens at 9 a.m. from Monday to Saturday with varying closing times.

Cattaraugus Free Library on 21 Main St in Cattaraugus welcomes visitors starting at 11 a.m., Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Delevan - Yorkshire Public Library on 28 School St in Delevan opens its doors at 1 p.m., Monday through Friday, with varying closing times and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Ellicottville Memorial Library is situated at 6499 Maples Rd in Ellicottville and is open from 10 a.m., Monday through Saturday, closing at 5 p.m., except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when it remains open until 8 p.m.

Gowanda Free Library can be found at 56 West Main St in Gowanda and operates from Monday to Friday starting at 10 a.m., closing at different times except Wednesday when it extends its hours until 7 p.m.

King Memorial Library located at Route 16 in Machias has varied opening hours throughout the week: Mondays from noon to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesdays noon to six; Thursdays ten till six; Fridays nine till two; and Saturdays nine till one.

Memorial Library of Little Valley is positioned at Rock City St in Little Valley with hours extending from nine till seven on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; nine till five on Fridays; and ten till one on Saturdays.

Olean Public Library is accessible all week long with extended hours: Mondays through Thursdays nine till nine; Fridays nine till six; and Saturdays ten till five.

Portville Free Library's schedule includes being open Mondays one till eight; Tuesdays ten till five; Thursdays one till eight; Fridays nine till five; and Saturdays ten till one.

Randolph Library's timetable consists of being open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays twelve until eight; Wednesdays four until eight; Fridays ten until five; and Saturdays ten until three.

Salamanca Public Library starts operations daily by nine but closes differently each day while Seneca Nation Libraries have branches both in Salamanca (Allegany Branch) and Irving (Cattaraugus Branch), opening weekdays by eight but differing slightly over weekends too depending upon which branch you visit respectively between either four-thirty or seven during weekdays then again similarly between either five or seven otherwise yet still remain available every Saturday morning up through early afternoon around noontime instead!
