The Chautauqua County System of Care, known as Tapestry, has announced the launch of a new quarterly newsletter. This publication is set to make its debut in January 2025 and will be accessible on the Tapestry website at tapestrychq.com/newsletter. The initiative aims to keep the community informed about resources, events, and initiatives that enhance services for children, youth, families, and providers throughout the region.
Rachel Ludwig, who oversees Tapestry, expressed enthusiasm about the project: “This newsletter is more than just a publication; it’s a tool for integration and collaboration.” She further explained that their goal is to unite programs and agencies by providing information that supports better outcomes for everyone involved.
The Winter 2025 edition of the newsletter will feature several key highlights. Among these are a spotlight on Prevention Works, an agency known for its impactful community programs; a comprehensive Winter Toolkit designed for parents, teachers, and youth; and a calendar listing upcoming events such as open houses, educational webinars, and community activities.
Tapestry functions within Chautauqua County as part of a coordinated System of Care that integrates various services to meet community needs. This approach follows guidelines from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and operates under the direction of the Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene. The newsletter is intended to reflect Tapestry’s commitment to innovation, adaptability, and collaboration.
Community members are encouraged to visit tapestrychq.com/newsletter to explore the first issue and check back quarterly for updates.
