The Cattaraugus County Center Building in Little Valley is closed until further notice due to a water line break inside the building. This closure affects several offices, including the Little Valley DMV Office, Treasurer's Office, Clerk's Office, Office of Emergency Services, Administration and Legislative Offices, Economic Development, Planning, and Tourism Offices, Human Resources Office, all Little Valley Courts Offices—County, Surrogate, etc., District Attorney's Office, and County Attorney's Office.

A statement from county officials reads: "We will update on status of the building reopening once that information is available."

It is noted that the Sheriff's Office/Jail side of the building is not affected at this time. Additionally, the old Little Valley School building offices—Board of Elections, Youth Bureau, LV Health Department Office—remain operational.

This information was last updated at 13:45 hrs (1:45 p.m.) on July 16th, 2024.
