Does this mean you need to discontinue your crib mattress?
No, as long as it’s firm and fits the crib properly you’re fine to continue.
What about aftermarket playard mattresses?
Any that do not comply to this standard (ones manufactured before August 15, 2022) should not be used.
Ones that come with the playard will always be the safest option.
