New York lost 1,766 soldiers in the Korean war and 2,646 in the Vietnam conflict.
Consumers visiting the store at 99 N Main St, Warsaw will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Warsaw Memorial Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.
This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.
Flags will be available at Warsaw Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.
