Of the 2,542 people living in Jamestown West in 2019, 56.2 percent (1,429) were women and 43.8 percent (1,113) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West NY News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 746-to-625. In the 65 and over age range, there were 469 females and 269 males.
