On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Gowanda High School standout John Ondus’ current college team, the Niagara Purple Eagles, lost 16-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place at Ting Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Boilermakers this season.

The Purple Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. at Ting Stadium against Purdue Boilermakers.
