On Saturday, March 1, former Wellsville Senior High School standout Sawyer Burke’s current college team, the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Winthrop Eagles.

The game took place at Terry Field. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Bonnies’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at Betty Basler Field against East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
