On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Gowanda High School standout John Ondus’ current college team, the Niagara Purple Eagles, lost 9-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place at Ting Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Boilermakers this season.

The Purple Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Ting Stadium against Purdue Boilermakers.
