On Sunday, June 1, former Portville Junior Senior High School standout Maxx Yehl’s current collegiate team the West Virginia Mountaineers won 13-12 against the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Doug Kingsmore Stadium at 6:05 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats in the tournament.

The West Virginia Mountaineers’ next game will take place on Saturday, June 7 at 1 p.m. at Skip Bertman Field @ Alex Box Stadium.
