On Sunday, March 16, former Portville Junior Senior High School standout Maxx Yehl’s current college team, the West Virginia Mountaineers, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The game took place at O’Brate Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cowboys this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Monongalia County Baseball Complex against James Madison Dukes.
