In Jamestown, residents are invited to participate in the Pinwheels for Prevention ceremony to demonstrate a collective commitment to a safer future for children. This local event uses pinwheels, a national symbol of child abuse prevention, to express this solidarity.

“Together, we can make a difference. Let’s plant hope, raise awareness, and work toward a future free from child abuse,” the organizers emphasize. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue to show their support.
