The Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services has issued a fairness notice related to the class-action settlement in the case of Engesser, et al. v. McDonald, No. 25 Civ. 01689. This action follows a recent court order that has affected parts of the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) transition to Public Partnerships LLC (PPL), which serves as the Statewide Fiscal Intermediary.

The department advises individuals to view or download the full Notice of Class Action Settlement available in both English and Spanish. Language assistance options are also provided for those who need them.
