At the June 2024 Chautauqua County Legislature meeting, County Executive Paul M. Wendel Jr. and Legislature Chairman Pierre E. Chagnon recognized Richard Dixon for his contributions to local economic development. Dixon served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) for many years.

Wendel Jr. and Chagnon highlighted Dixon’s dedication and impact on the community during his tenure at CCIDA.

“Dixon’s work has left a lasting legacy in our county,” stated Wendel Jr., emphasizing the importance of Dixon’s role in economic initiatives.

Chagnon added, “His commitment to improving our local economy has been invaluable.”

Dixon’s efforts have significantly influenced economic growth in Chautauqua County, making him a respected figure within the community.
