Chautauqua County has detailed its allocation and impact of funds received from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The public report outlines how the funding has supported various community needs.
“By investing American Rescue Plan dollars strategically across Chautauqua County, we have been able to positively impact local residents,” the release states.
County officials have focused on using ARPA funds to address issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes efforts in public health, economic recovery, and infrastructure improvements.
“Our mission has been to use this generational opportunity wisely, engaging with community leaders and listening to residents,” officials noted in the release.
The report highlights support for vaccination efforts, small businesses, and essential infrastructure projects.
“We remain committed to transparency and equity in our actions and will continue to work with our community partners,” the county emphasized. Chautauqua County plans to provide further updates as additional projects commence.
