Centaur Stride in Sherman, New York, is continuing its Community Clinic series with a mental health presentation by Rachel Mesmer Ludwig. Ludwig is the Project Coordinator for the Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene and Director of the Chautauqua Tapestry System of Care Grant.
The event will take place on Tuesday, July 22, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. Ludwig will present “Let’s Talk About the Continuum of Mental Health,” a 30-minute interactive session aimed at helping participants understand mental health experiences and available supports. Attendees are also invited to stay for a guided barn tour at Centaur Stride.
These monthly clinics have been offering community members access to relevant mental health topics and resources since May. The sessions are held in an inclusive environment and include a brief survey to help shape future offerings.
Upcoming clinics include “Kids N Sibs Bonding Activities” on August 14, “Back to School Wellness Planning” on September 17 with Rachel Ludwig, “Caregiver Burnout & Animal Therapy” in October with Dr. Allie Westphal, and “Dealing with Stress” on December 2 with Ruth Chase of Prevention Works.
Clinics are held at Centaur Stride, located at 8488 Jones Rd, Sherman, NY, and are open to the public.
