80% of Wyoming County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 40,679 citizens living in Wyoming County in 2021, 80% were old enough to vote, equating to 32,522 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 17,868 were male, constituting 54.9%, and 14,654 were female, making up 45.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Wyoming County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79%.
